There are
known tapestries on images of painting classical masters (Raphael...). We found that
some Russian artists have pictoresque 'tapestry" paintings. This is ours especial
investigational direction...
For the classic paintings tapestries - it is very important to have the exact project.
Example - the image of an oil painting of the artist A.A. Ivanov "Arising
of the Christ to the people" was re-created in reduced size 200 х 300 см (oil,
canvas).
Additional advantage of such cases is that oil paintig project for future tapestry might
become a separate art work. |
